     Obituary BEEK, Hilda Marie. The Death of Hilda Marie Beek, wife of the late Millett Beek occurred on July 28, 2001 at York Manor Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Comeau and Mary (Richard) Comeau. She was a member of the St. Andrews Anglican Church Doaktown, a member of the ACW and a member of the Senior Citizens Club. she is survived by four daughter Helena (Willis McAlwee of Doaktown, NB, Frances-Ann (Winston) Price of Doaktown NB, Eyvonne Vallis of Fredericton NB, Erma (Wayne) Jones of Fredericton NB, three sons Gerald (Joanne) Beek of Port hardy BC, Henry (Shirley) Beek of Burlington , Mass., Wallace Beek of Port Hardy BC, one brother Edmund Comeau of Tracadie NB, three sisters Helen Savoie of Tracadie NB, Alice Benoit of Tracadie NB, Eyvonne (Peter ) Comeau of Tracadie NB, one daughter-in-law Geraldine Beek of Courtney BC, 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special Niece Noella Savoie. Shie is predeased by one son Clinton, on daughter Delores, two brother Alfie and Albert, one sister Adie, one granddaughter Paula Price and son-in-law Eric Vallis. Visitation will be held at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon. Funeral is St. Andrews Anglican Church Doaktown NB at 2 pm Wed. with Rev David Titus officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery.
Pall bears for the service are Willis McAlwee, Winston Prince, Wayne Jones, Jamie Jones, Jake Price and Eldon Storey. Honourary pallbearers are Karen Storey, Janet Parker, Gail Waren, Willa Johna, Mary Jane Betts and Reta Storey ETC.... (Info from Jack MacDonald 2001)

Eunice M. Beek , widow of Walter Beek, Doaktown, NB, passed away Friday, April 2, 1999, at Central NB Nursing home Boiestown, NB at the age of 86
Born in Hazelton, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Patience (Pratt) Ward. She was a homemaker, and attended United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Catherine Curtis (Lindsay), Douglas, NB; three sons, Ward (Frances), Boiestown, NB; Elroy and Walter (Loretta), both of Surrey, BC; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and, great-great-grandchildren , and nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, one daughter, one grandson, hank Beek;, one great-grandson Adam Beek, daughter-in law, Mrs. Elroy Beek (Lynn).
The remains rested at Davidson's Funeral Home, Main St. Doaktown, NB . The Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 6, from United Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, NB with Rev. Robert Gallant officiating. Congregational hymns were: Safe in the Arms of Jesus, and Sweet Hour of prayer, Soloist Borden B. Davidson rendered I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone.

Active pallbearers were; Michael O'Neil, Frank Ward, Jeff Ward, Danny Curtis, Tony Curtis, Dale Stephenson.
Burial will take place later in the spring. Davidson's Funeral Service Ltd. (622-7464) was in care of arrangements. Family owned-family operated.
