From LDS Mary Jane Beek Birth: 01 AUG 1827 Fredericton, York, New Brunswick
Death: 02 JAN 1899 . ( Unclear if this is the correct date of death since on the 1900 census for Cherokee County Iowa. )
Marriages: Spouse: John Fox Family Marriage: 21 OCT 1846
Apparently one of the granddaughters of John Fox had genealogy material on this particular family.
Inquiry in roots web Dec. 15, 2004 asked about the John H. Fox (b.1818 in Niagara Falls, Canada) and Mary Jane Beek (b. 1827 in New Brunswick) They married 1846 in township of Esquesing, Gore District Canada. They had 12 children including 3 sets of twins. The family moved to Iowa in the late 1890's. (info from Judy Dunten) Believe the Hawkshaw connection may be accurate because Dunten was also trying to trace that family through a Tom MacNeill.
